John Fraley is a conservative businessman and native of Iredell County. John graduated from Statesville City Schools and from UNC-Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead Scholar nominee. His business career began when he joined Cannon Mills in 1973. John rose in the textile industry to become Executive Vice President at Excell Home Fashions and later a Chief Operating Office at Home Source International.
Currently John serves as CEO of Fraley Global Home and as a director and treasurer of Sereolipi Nomadic Education Foundation, which provides education to over 1,500 students from the nomadic tribes of northern Kenya. John has been married to Adelaide B. Horton of Troutman for the past 35 years.
